New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, infamous for letting the people of his city down and for his ridiculous habit of putting his foot in his mouth (i.e., "chocolate city"), was far enough ahead in the mayoral race Sunday that he and Louisiana Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu would face each other in a runoff election next month.

For those who placed a vote for this inept buffoon - what were you thinking? Nagin, along with a host of other idiot government officials, failed you. Why are you rewarding them?

My opinion of some New Orleans voters is on par with those who support President George Bush. I simply don't understand some people. I'd love to say that they deserve what they get, but the rest of us have to suffer, too...
